The Ball & Chain "Big Red" Long Lunch is back by popular demand. Being a regular mid-year event for Budburst, we mark the season with a red wine dominated lunch (there is one white). The focus is matching the dishes from the Ball & Chains famous charcoal grill, with some of the standout wines, that I have tried this year.
I will be presenting each of the wines. Matching wine and food is one of my favourite things to do and I'll share my thoughts about each combo with you.

Bastille Day is one of the most important days on the french calendar and Wunderbar chef and owner Julian Volkmer has curated a classic french menu to mark the occasion.
Classic french dishes, deserve classic french wines and I have teamed up with Alex Chapman from Negotiants Australia to match each dish with a premium selection.
You'll be treated to wines from some of the most famous french family winemakers, with generations of history and tradition. Wines from Pierre Gimonnet Champagne, Families Hugel, Domaine Faiveley, Families Perrin and Chateau Coutet.
