We’ve added a new side hussle to our bow
It always seemed like such a waste, to throw empty bottles of delicious wines into the recycling bin.
So, we decided to start a new project of up-cycling those bottles, turning them into beautiful, aromatic candles and vases.
We mostly concentrated on Tassie wines, but not exclusively. When we’ve drunk a special bottle from elsewhere, it seems the right thing do and upcycle them too..
We’re starting to introduce some Budburst Merchandise too. First to arrive are our new, cosy and warm Puffer Jackets. You’re sure to look better in one than me. We’ve got some other cool stuff on the way too.

We hand-make each item
I do the cutting and polishing of the bottles and my wife Felicity creates the individually scented wax for each candle, to reflect the sensory qualities of the original wine.
Items are very limited (mostly just singles).

Personally these type of tumblers have been my go to for a while for outdoor drinking, because the wine tastes better than in most other unbreakable vessels and it keeps the wine cooler for longer, than most others as well.
