We’ve added a new side hussle to our bow
It always seemed like such a waste, to throw empty bottles of delicious wines into the recycling bin.
So, we decided to start a new project of up-cycling those bottles, turning them into beautiful, aromatic candles and vases.
We mostly concentrated on Tassie wines, but not exclusively. When we’ve drunk a special bottle from elsewhere, it seems the right thing do and upcycle them too..
We are looking to add other wine accessories soon as well.
We hand-make each item
Joe does the cutting and polishing of the bottles and his wife Felicity creates the individually scented wax for each candle, to reflect the sensory qualities of the original wine.
Items are very limited (mostly just singles).
