Fruit forward with enticing nashi pear fruits, honey suckles and juicy limes greet you on entry, which than transforms into a textural, silky mid palate that engulfs the tongue with supporting minerals, granny Smith apples and lemon zest. As the finish approaches, your senses are treated to a zesty, racy and cleansing level of acidity, which is in complete harmony with the initial fruitiness and it really sends you on a sensual journey, surrounded by the terraced slopes of Germany's Moselle River. A beautiful wine with plenty more time, to develop further intriguing characters in the cellar. Furthermore, this wine is sourced from Tasmania's oldest Riesling vineyard, which was planted in 1974 and the word is, that this will be the final single vineyard wine from this vineyard.
