Freycinet Estate Syrah 2019

$68.00

This Freycinet Estate Syrah has a concentrated fruit character on entry of black berry fruits and rich plums and power is the underlying character of this wine, with concentrated red cherries and black berry fruit.

It has many layers, as seems to be the hallmark of this wine each vintage, with notes of coffee and black pepper, with well integrated spicey french oak, that is complimented by underlying finely grained tannins, that give this wine significant power and backbone to finish. It has a long life ahead of it, which is sure to see it through to the 2040s.
Region: East Coast, Tasmania
Budburst Rating: #fantasticwine 95pts
