Glaetzer-Dixon is a boutique Tasmanian wine producer based in Hobart, founded in 2008 by winemaker Nick Glaetzer. Coming from a renowned Barossa Valley winemaking family, Nick moved to Tasmania to focus on cool-climate wines, sourcing fruit from premium vineyards across regions such as the Coal River, Derwent and Tamar Valleys. The winery is known for its hands-on approach and strong emphasis on expressing site, climate and vintage.
The range centres on elegant, finely structured Pinot Noir and vibrant Riesling, alongside distinctive Shiraz that showcases Tasmania’s cooler interpretation of the variety. Winemaking balances traditional techniques with a minimal-intervention philosophy, resulting in wines of purity, texture and ageing potential.
