Merriworth Wines is a boutique winery in Tasmania's Coal River Valley, specifically in Tea Tree, about 30 minutes north of Hobart. Founded in 2017 by Mark McNamara and Kirralee Hatch, Merriworth specializes in producing small-batch Pinot Noir and Riesling. Their vineyard, previously known as Third Child, spans 2 hectares and is known for a diverse array of Pinot Noir clones and several Riesling clones. The vineyard’s terroir includes a combination of cracking clay soil and shallow slopes over dolerite rock, which contribute to the unique characteristics of its wines​
