About Oxford Landing Wines
Oxford Landing Wines, established in 1958 by Wyndham Hill-Smith, is located along the Murray River in South Australia's Riverland region. Originally focused on brandy and fortified wine production, the estate expanded its vineyards over time to include a broad array of varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Shiraz, among others. Known for its sustainable viticulture practices, Oxford Landing strives to minimize environmental impact, recycling water, using drought-resistant rootstocks, and converting portions of its vineyards to organic and biodynamic practices. The estate's commitment to sustainability is also demonstrated by extensive native vegetation plantings to enhance biodiversity
