Viridian Wines Pinot Noir 2013
Viridian Wines Pinot Noir 2013 from Tasmania’s Derwent Valley is a beautifully matured cool-climate Pinot showing lifted aromas of dried cherry, wild strawberry and warm spice, layered with earthy, forest floor complexity. The palate is elegant and silky, with softened red fruit, savoury savoury depth and finely resolved tannins. Bright acidity still carries through, giving freshness and balance despite extended bottle age. Subtle oak and mineral notes add structure and complexity, leading to a long, graceful finish. Drinking at peak now, it pairs beautifully with duck, game, roast pork or mushroom-based dishes.
Region: Derwent Valley, Tasmania
Budburst Rating: #excellentwine 93pts
